Theatre Production Minor

The Minor in Theatre Production is ideal for any student who has an interest in theatrical production and its application to the performance and entertainment industry. Students are introduced to a variety of skills employed in theatrical production that include the techniques and crafts that support scenic, costume and lighting and sound production, as well the fundamental methods of event management.


Foundations in Production - 4 hours from the following:

Stage Management - 1 hour

Intermediate Production - 3 hours from ONE of the following:

Practicum-4 hours

Advanced Technical Production - 6 hours from the following:

There are three recommended tracks within the technical theatre minor. Each track allows for a particular focus or area of technical theatre.
