Foundation in memory of their daughter, Valerie, whose life was taken on December
21, 1988, when a terrorist bomb exploded on Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland.
This grant program was created to support activities that lead to professional development
for full-time students who are active majors in the College of Creative
Arts.
In conjunction with the WVU Office of Graduate Education and Life, the CCA provides
University Graduate Tuition Waivers on a competitive and limited basis to enhance
the effectiveness of its graduate programs.
Through a competitive application process, the Creative Consultant program matches outstanding creative arts students with extraordinary professionals in the fields of art, design, music, theatre, dance, and arts education, administration and industry.

Student performing groups offered through the School of Music include a wide range of opportunities in a variety of musical traditions and styles from bands to African music and dance. The student and community performing groups are open to all qualified WVU students by audition.
