The College of Creative Arts (CCA) Student Professional Development Grant program was created to support activities that lead to professional development for full-time students who are active majors in the College of Creative Arts. Funds donated to the College of Creative Arts and managed by the West Virginia University Foundation are the primary resources for this program.
Due to funding restrictions, applications for the 2023-24 academic year are now closed.
Only one application for a CCA Student Professional Development Grant will be funded for any individual during a given academic year. A second application will only be considered if the event is a prestigious activity. Please note: with limited funding available, the College is only supporting juried/invited/accepted presentations and performances for the remainder of the academic year.

The maximum award for domestic professional development activities in 2023-2024 (including travel within the continental United States) is $200.
The maximum award for international travel (including Alaska and Hawaii) is $500.
